When Anthony J. Scalise, an 80-year-old first-generation American in Utica, New York, found a 1922 picture of his father and other immigrants from the Italian city of Scandale, he immediately had prints made for other friends with Scandalese roots. "It was wonderful, all those people with walrus mustaches," Mr. Scalise said. "I'm going to look for more old photos to pass on now, too"
